Well, try as I might, I can't keep Billvillians from wandering over to gawk at the train wreck known as the drum circle. As a matter of fact, some might remember me throwing one of my costumes on the fire at the drum circle a few years ago.
The important thing here is that there are no drum circles IN Billville, not that there are Billvillians AT drum circles.
I have, in the past on whiteblaze, referred to the drum circle as "that muddy, out-of-rhythm mess."
I also once posted about a poorly thought out Billvillian alternative to the drum circle:
"Actually, Billville tried to have a Farting in the Wind Circle a couple of years ago. It was more rhythmic and smelled better than a drum circle, but a particularly exuberant Gene Krupa-style solo done much too close to the fire caused a methane explosion which tragically killed three participants and wounded at least fifteen others."
I have also mentioned another alternative, Tuba Circles.
Don't get me started on contra dancing, though. I've got something like a 2 year streak going where I don't say anything bad about them.

OMG! I watched that thing and when it started I thought ok that looks like a pretty big tree then they got down to where you could see the stump of the twig that someone cut--single pass with a chainsaw--no visible signs of notching to give you an idea of how small it was--and these fraggin' hippy wanna be's wailing all over each other like they cut down a giant redwood or something.

I would really enjoy seeing how those people crying for the trees live.
Do they live in a house?
What did they have for breakfast?
How did they get to the woods?
What kinda cloths are they wearing?

It is easy to cry for a tree in the woods when you have a nice safe warm house to return tooo, never mind that it is made of wood and all sorts of things taken from the earth. Whats for lunch, chicken, beef or veggies.......how many trees were displaced to make room for the animals and plants they eat.
Not to mention the packaging it all comes in.
