Anyone here ever use High Peak gear(tents,backpacks,sleeping bags)? Any reviews would be appreciated.Thanks

Any and everything can work. People here say Walmart even has gear they used. What kind of trip, terrain and altitude, and maybe the durability needs, need to be considered. Most of the "have to have" gear is made in Viet Nam, using good manufacturer names, still made in China somewhere. That doesn't make it bad. The brand you mention is probably made in a outdoor shop down the street from many more gear shops.
Try not to get hung up on names, will it work for you ?
Maybe when you can afford it, buy products from cottage industries, made in the USA, now thats a stimulas I can back.
