View Full Version : Anyone hiking on the AT near Killington next week?
I'm going to be hiking south from Woodstock, VT for about 4 or 5 nights starting Monday... wondering if anyone will be out on the trail so if I break a leg I have a chance of being found before I freeze to death. LOL

Long range forecast looks decidely cold. GIve the current snow conditions, a solo hiker carrying all the needed winter gear is going to be lucky to do 10 miles per day. Cell coverage is marginal at best in a lot of Vermont so be aware that it may not be a viable way of getting help.
