I just bought a ULA Circuit and am curious about rain covers for this particular pack. I have an Etowah Raincover but can see it being way to big.

ULA does sell rain covers at a reasonable price on their website

Chaco, you may want to look at the Jackr r Better pack cover/gear hammock (http://www.jacksrbetter.com/JGHPC.htm). I've got one for my Catalyst and plan on getting a smaller one for my Circuit as soon as I get it.

Chaco do you supplement your pack covers with a trash compactor bag as a liner? Just wondering. I prefer a slightly oversized pack cover.

I second this.... Rain Cover, water carrier, and gear hammock all in one...

CT,
Normally I wouldn't do this for just anybody, but ... I live across the ridge in Johnson City and thru'ed in '06. I'm doing the PCT this year and have switched packs. Like you, I needed a new pack cover (my '06 one was way too big). So, I bought some silnylon and made my own, using a spare from dancinglightgear as the pattern. I cannabilzed the hooks, cords, buckles, etc. It's blaze orange, which I hope marks me as "Not a Deer" in OR and WA. I have some extra material and some good advice. For several beers at The Wedge, we might can do a deal. Let me know.
