Id like to camp up at Mt Yonah sometime soon but all my friends are pansies and are scared of the cold. Im free basically any time. So let me know!

PS: Wouldn't hurt if the partner is a female;)

Isn't this like 3 thread you've started, only in different wording, looking for a female to hike with you?

that site is dumb. you have to be 21 at least for every thing they do.

Come on man, surely you can use myspace, facebook and a plethora of other website to achieve your goals. Me and my friends were successfully using aol 10 years ago to get girls....in Montgomery, Alabama. If we could do that back then in that town, surely you can be way more successful in Athens in these times.

Btw, I think trying to hook up with a girl hiking partner is a terrible idea. Hooking up with a girl is good. Finding a hiking partner is good. Combining the two is bad. Of course if you succeed, you've probably found your wife because if you can deal with each other for six months when you're hungry, sore and smelling awful, you can probably deal with anything together. Still though, I'd rather take a cheese grater to my knees than try that.

Hey:

davidb308 - If you want to hike the first few days of the AT with me, I leave on the 30th of January and you are more than welcome to tag along for a few days. Park your car north and when we get there you can take off on back home.

But I'm a dude, so you may be clean out of luck if you're just trying to get lucky and not someone to hike with.

And yeah, pass the cheese grater if you think hiking with a girlfriend is fun...it usually leaves in one of you going home and a NASTY break-up over the stupidest things.
