I am planning a Hike from Springer to Helen, GA starting on March 13th or 14th through March 20th. I'm a first timer on the AT and looking for some experience.
I'll be starting at Springer on Friday, 12 March. See ya out there somewhere.
Lots of folks will be starting then, with varying degrees of experience. Longhaul hiked in 05 and 09 and will be starting again on the 13th. Great guy! I may be out myself about then, but it depends on the State of New Jersey coming through with my husband's life insurance. In any case, I'll be out on the trail for this year.
