Tuesday Jan 26th at 6PM at The Outdoor Source in Upper Arlington.
For the 6th (I think) year in a row, we are having our thruhike Q & A session at the shop where I work here in Columbus.
If you are headed to Springer in a month or two or up to Katahdin later this summer please stop in to ask questions.
If you've hiked, come in and give some answers.
It is free and a good time.
If anyone is hungry afterward, we can relocate to get a bite and a beverage.

The Ohio Sleeper Cell has a strong recruiting program.
Our most effective tool is very simple, we offer an opportunity to leave Ohio for 4 or 5 months over the summer.
It is really hot and humid here in the summer, there are no beaches or mountains.
Just thunderstorms and mosquitos.
And never ending coverage of the upcoming Ohio State football season.

We had a good turnout last night, 4 folks that are headed out this spring, 3 that are beginning to plan for 2011, and more than several section hikers. Probably 20+ people total.
Thanks to all that came out and contributed.

I don't have to work on the 10th, so I am going to try to make it out.
Also of interest here in Ohio is the Miami Valley Adventure Summit March 5 and 6 at Wright State University in Dayton.
Does not look like the schedule is finalized yet, but Andy Skurka is will be talking there on saturday morning.
