Mt. Washington loses it's bragging right...I always wondered how accurate the wind reading actually was from back in the 1930's...
This was news to me. Since 1996, too. I just believed everyone and never checked for myself. (chuckles)

That's what I think the difference should be. You would have higher winds inside a tornado, did they count those, NO. I still have to give Big George the upper hand.
