Just a reminder... the ALDHA web page has been updated to include information about an opportunity to help construct the Pine Mountain Trail in Eastern Kentucky. I'll be there Mon. - Wed., Oct 11-13, right after The Gathering, and would love to have some Whiteblzers join me.

Trail work trip opportunity
The Pine Mountain Trail Conference is seeking volunteers to help construct the Pine Mountain Trail along the Virginia-Kentucky border from Oct. 10-16. The trail offers incredible views, and traverses black bear, elk, wild turkey and deer habitat.
October brings the fall color change, and you'll catch the central Appalachian Mountains awash in hues of crimson, rust-orange and gold. The crew will camp at the Cane Patch campground, which has toilet and shower facilities.
