Go to work. Turn on computer. Read email, white blaze, trail journals, backpacking light. REPEAT.

This is seriously out of control. Springer fever is affecting my job performance!

http://www.backpackinglight.com

Check out the forums. It's geared towards ultra-light hiking though so consider yourself forewarned! But it's a great source of information on products regardless of whether or not you are UL.

Ditto,(minus the backpacking light). I also go to hammock forums and some lightweight backpacking blogs, oh... and work a bit ;). It's a sick cycle that keeps me sane :D:D

Haha thanks. That's me "working". I was going to throw in a Clydesdale or two but felt like I should probably keep it classy for WB.

Tell Helen I miss her! We really bonded when she zeroed in MA, you know...

Things could be worse.

What kind of job do you have? Air Traffic Controller?

I'm just an Elementary School Music Teacher so I'm not hurting anything (I hope).

you are not alone. I have some measure of self-control, though; I wait until lunchtime.
