Have any of yall used the ALPS Mountaineering Zephyr 3-Person Tent?
How is it in summer backpacking conditions?

I think this was a thread on Backpacker the other day. I've never used that particular Alps tent, but the others I've used have been very solid, although heavy.

I was a volunteer gear tester for Alps. I tested this and a couple of others. The tent is built with good entry level "plus" quality. Hardware is beefier and the gear is targeted towards scouts and heavy duty use. Would I carry one? sure. Though I would appreciate lighter.
I've got one and its well made. But, I'm looking for something different after using it for a year because of its weight (mine weighs in between 5-6 lbs).
