and am planning on hiking PA getting off at the Delaware Water Gap. My question is would it be easier/more practical to fly out of Newark or Philadelphia?
Also and understandably, there is the shuttle list but does anyone have any experience with busses or other forms of transportation from the DWG to those airports?

A bus from DWG will take you into NYC, from which you can transfer to a bus to Newark Liberty Airport.

that saves you trouble
and gets you out of your bubble

Many moons to go before I journey
to get to Philly is now my query.
Bus or car or train or plane
is my decision, it's not to wander or to tarry
for I must fly from where I came
to start to plan all over again.
I'm torn between two times to go.
Things must shake before I'll know.
But please remember this simple verse
I'll contact you when it is time to converse.
