Marmot Ponder 40 degree bag

Great for the middle half of your thruhike. Would recommend to anyone. Pick up in Pearisburg area and carry until Mass or Vermont.

I bought a Mountain Hardwear Phantom 45 because it had more down despite the higher rating and it was cheaper. It worked great for me on the AT in the summer. The Marmot Pounder is a nice bag, too.

I'll be starting in SNP the 1st week of June 2011. I plan to reach Katahdin. I was thinking of starting out w/ this bag & then adding a liner up north.
