Assuming you had relatively easy terrain how many miles a day do you think you can cover?

All I have to say is they better not give anyone who pogosticks the AT a 2000 mile rocker. Rules are clear, hike the trail, not bounce it. A pogosticker claiming to be thru-hiker would be a total disgrace to everyone who legitimately completed the trail honestly by walking. It would be as bad as driving from GA to ME and claiming to be a thru-hiker. :)

Have you ever SEEN the AT? You cannot get up a ridge full of rocks on a pogo stick - you'd get it hung up in the rocks. Not to mention the grade.

great idea but just in case someone beats you to it, I suggest doing it blindfolded while playing a musical instument just to set yourself apart.
should be quite fast thru the Whites in NH. think of the great single bounds you could take on the wa down the peaks.
