I bought 3 pair of Omni-Wool socks for $10 ($3.33/pair). They look identical, have the same ingedients, and feel the same as my $15 a pair SmartWool socks.

Humm, haven't seen those. I usually buy the 4 pk of Merino Wool socks for $10.00. I'll look next time I go.

There is a lot of hype and yes you can pick up good hunters socks and they are fantastic for hiking so long as they DO NOT contain cotton.

Oh yea, they are also the same materials in the same percentage as SmartWool.

My Sams Club had them 3/pk for $ 9.91 , so I bought me some.

Not disagreeing, but I always thought the best proof of alien life in the universe could be found at 3 a.m. in the cat food aisle of an all night grocery.:)

Chatter told me about the Sam's club socks. I bought three pair (one package). I like them better than Smartwools. They are a mid-heavy weight sock.
