Current Conditions around Massie Gap / Mt Rogers ?

I'm supposed to do a 4 day hike from Massie Gap to Damascus starting March 17th and I'm starting to get concerned about the weather. I don't mind the cold or a little snow/rain, but I'm curious what the current trail conditions are like (snowpack, etc).
