I'm planning a hiking trip from the end of May to the end of July, so 2 1/2 months straight, and I wanted some suggestions on what parts of the AT I should go hike through. I want to avoid extremes in weather, and I'd like to do an easier part of the trail.
Any suggestions?

Hike outta Damascus, you will be in Duncannon for the 4th of July, awesome times. You will be in Va in summer so the heat will be something to deal with. Its going to be hot no matter what. You will be in the thruhike traffic.
Or start in Duncannon and head north. Gives you a little bit of an easy start and you may be able to make it to Katahdin.
