I will be leaving TN about 4am headed to springer sat morning starting my hike. i cant wait probably wont be able to sleep at all.hope to meet some friends. HAPPY TRAILS! TENDERFOOT

Beautiful day in the Atlanta area this am....great day to start out (of course, ANY day is a great dat to start a thru!). Good chance of some snow/ice come Tuesday/Wednesday. I envy you !!

I crossed the trail about 6 times on 42 today. It looks like a hiker parade out there.
