First heard of the AT in the mid-to-late 80's when at the Pentagon. Started planning then for retirement in 1997, but was unable to follow thru (no pun intended) until 2012, 11 years after actual retirement. AT was always in the back of my mind, whenever I looked at or actually bought gear.

One year. I spent that time getting my gear and paying off my debts so I could go totally free from the "real world".

I think that if my wife said "Go!" I could be out of the house in 15 min and on my way. :banana

Until that time I am on like the 10 yr plan.

You could totally make a Ferris Bueller dummy. How you could make it work for 4-6 months, Christ only knows.
