I have a good amount of money saved up for my hike from VA to NY. And i am starting my trek tomorrow, but just incase i would like to pose the question of any jobs that you guys may know of that enjoy hiring hikers or some places that you can make 50$ in a day or something along those lines... If anything stands out to you, or places that you may have worked at in the past id love to hear about them. thanks!

In some towns homeowners, landscapers and tree men need day laborers and will pay whatever the going rate is. Express your interest in the trail towns, and you may get lucky. In Maine and other states there are harvest jobs that pay up to $200 a day. Good luck! Plus there are blog sites where you can get paid to post if you're good. Before I started hiking Springer north, I went to a country fair in Dahlonega where there were displays of gold sluicing and mining. I hear there are quite a few flakes of the metal in the streams in and around north Georgia.
