My buddy TrailDawg is about to finish up his thru-hike, and I thought you all might enjoy checking out his pictures and journal. I just got back his flashcards from the Whites, and wow! Makes me want to quit my job and run back out there!

These pictures are fantastic. Thanks so much for passing them on. What type of camera does your buddy use?

He's got a Canon Powershot G5 with a wide angle lense. There's a good shot of it here:

Thanks for the link. This is one of the best Trail sites I've come across.

Trail Dawg did 40 miles in 24 hours up to Damascus. Nice guy and saw that he carried big, pretty heavy but high quality camera but didnt look carefully at what kind of camera he have.

Great photos, great site. It's always nice to see the places that were socked in when I did my hike. Franconia is one of those places. Thanks for the link Snickers.

I'm keeping up with TrailDawg. Been enjoying his pictures since way back near the start of the trip.

I think there are a lof that I'd love to see higher resolution offerings of. For desktop background purposes only.

Mr. Sweetie: Any in particular? I keep meaning to crop a bunch to desktop resolutions.

Nah, none in particular, but if I looked back through, I'm sure I'd see some. There are a bunch of excellent pictures in there. And you wouldn't have to crop them, I could do that... just posting them in their native size would be cool for me.

But yeah, traildawg has a knack for taking excellent pictures.

By the way, I know I've told you this before, but I love that you have the photo pages set up so that I can just click next and then next again without having to move around. I know that's a minor thing, but I appreciate it. :)
