I have a new Talon 22 that I like very much. Only problem is I cannot figure out how a water bladder is supposed to fit. Instructions seem to indicate a method that I can't figure out. Is there a special bladder to use or a special way to put one in. I've slipped a bladder into the space between the back panel and the pack body, but it is not secured in place in any way. Is this correct?

I use a Talon 22 with a Camelbak bladder. Do you see a tiny buckle and strap near the H2o tag? I slip the hook on the Camelbak through the bottom loop of this strap. I don't even have to open the buckle. Other bladders that have a handle rather than a hook on top may require you to open the buckle and thread the strap thru.

Hope this helps!

I don't have one, but I looked up the manual, and it says:

"EXTERNAL HYDRATION
COMPARTMENT
Located between the backpanel and
main body is an exterior hydration
compartment. (Talon 4 has bottle
sleeves.) A Locate H2O icon and unclip
closure to open. B Place reservoir in the
compartment using the sewn-in hanger
to hold upright. C Route hose left/right
through elastic routers on harness as
preferred, and close compartment."

Thanks for the helpful answers. I guess I need to find a bladder with a handle or hook on top. Mine are old platypus bladders with no attachment points.
