Eureka! (No, not the one in CA, IL, KS, MO, MT, NV, NC, SD, TX or UT)
I think I've found it...in Pennsylvania, no less, which is actually apropos.
At any rate, it has red blazes. I posted some pictures in the gallery.

In the (relatively, still being implemented) DCNR Trail Marking Standards applicable to State Forests a red-blazed trail is open to multi-use (i.e. horse/bike riders). In some State Parks it seems to relate to whatever color was in the shed.
I found it interesting that the only pink blazes that Backpacker magazine encountered intersecting the A.T. were also in PA - here (http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/parks/josepheibberson/josepheibberson_mini.pdf) in fact, not too far from Duncannon, also with red and a number of other blaze colors for your enjoyment...

Am currently scouting for the location of a trail that will go from the AT to Billville, Indiana.

To quote a line from "Crocodile Dundee": "I'll have to go there sometime." ;)

Good luck with that. :D
'Til then, I'll show you the "Billville Trail" some weekend.
