Hey I'm trying to find a nice lightweight 2 person tent for cheap (if that exists ($200)) and in my search I came across the Luxe Habitat 2 person tent. I was just wondering if anyone has ever used this or if anyone has even heard about it. I'm having trouble finding a reliable source on the weight as it seems to vary. It is reported as being in the low 4lbs WITH the footprint but I dont know if thats true. It might be high 3s without it.

Here's a video of it:

It seems to be from the Asia region based off the pictures places that sell it, but there are a few vendors here. Luxe's other tents also seem like great quality and are very light weight!

A lot of reviews compare it to being better than the Hubba Hubba

Hi
I have a few Luxe tents, I know the designer.
The weight of the ones I have is within 2 oz of the weight given on the net. That is including inner/outer/pole/pegs.
Luxe is based in Hong Kong, the shelters are made in China, as in further North...
This is one that I had something to do with. The Speedup

Franco, just how many tents do you have? If you don't mind, I'm going to use you as an example to my wife of someone who has more equipment than me!

If you go to their website, which I just forgot, they have a 2009 catalog and two pages of the catalog give the dimensions, weights and sizes.

They are located in HongKong. They list no US representatives or outlets.

I play with tents a lot. I was down to 12 but going up again.
The TT Moment is my latest toy.
BTW, I am on page 3 of that 2009 catalogue.

Hmm after looking at their website they seem a weeee bit heavy. ~4.4lbs

Right on the borderline. I love the room it offers and the dual vestibules, but I might grow tired of the weight half way through my thru.
