Hey everbody,
I was at Springer earlier today and before I left a gentleman came into the parking lot hiking down from Springer. He stopped and talked for a bit and said he had left from ASP earlier that morning, was hiking to Three Forks and back to ASP and then home. I asked what time he had left and when I looked at my watch he would have had to done this portion (9.2 miles) in 2 hrs. I have done this trail before and don't know if this is possible. What do you think? :-?

It's possible but highly unlikely. The closer you are to springer this time of year the more likely someone is going to bring up milage and maybe be a bit off in their estimation of said milage.
I'm on my 3rd day and find myself constantly off on my mileage estimates

BS, 2HRS that trail is tough, there is some very easy portions there, but over-all very unlikely
Two hours; two days; who cares? It's someone else's hike.
Yes, its very doable. I'm guessing he would have ran/jogged some stretches of the trail.
