I am a doctoral candidate at North Carolina State University and my dissertation research is on the restorative benefits of backcountry hiking and the relationship to job satisfaction. If you hike, and are employed, or recently employed, you can participate in this short (less than five minutes to complete) online survey. The survey is available at www.hikingresearch.com (http://www.hikingresearch.com/).

Please share this link with others who may be interested in participating in this research. I have also attached a poster that explains the research.

It seems to me that the survey is not intended at all for people who work for themselves. I was forced to leave large segments blank...

Great looking survey. I hated the two questions on how much hiking I've done in the past 12 months, though, since so far I haven't been able to get away!

Best of luck!
