Where do we sign up to be gear testers for aerogel jackets, pads, & bags?

The first time I "googled" aerogel, I found a website, in Italy, with a $6,000 jacket.
Pacific Outdoor Sports has aerogel in sleeping pads. I want to have an Uber Mountain.
PolarWrap insoles protect feet from desert hiking heat and from winter hiking cold, apparently.
That company has a three-fold stadium seat pad I have considered purchasing.

"The one drawback about this amazing material is its price.
Unfortunately it's very expensive in solid block/chunk form - and almost impossible to obtain. "
Kinda thinking this should be in the Hiking Humor forum.

There is "old" aerogel and "new" aerogel. The old was silica based and the new is organic polymer based.
It turns out that I have had a pair of unused Aerogel insoles for some time... the new organic material. It is composed of 3 layers of a polymeric foam.
The startling characteristic of the "old" aerogel was the exceptionally low densities and high porosities they could attain. This new insole labeled Aerogel has a porosity of only about 85%, nothing outstanding there. Besides, if it had a porosity of, say 95%, it wouldn't be stiff enough elastically to support much weight, so as an insole it would pretty much squash flat.
I have no memory of where, when or why I bought the aerogel inserts. They have the logo "Toasty Feet" on them and aren't profiled to give any arch support - just flat foam inserts.
Do you know what aerogel is in Pacific Outdoor Equipment sleeping pads listing aerogel?
Does anyone know if it has a really high R-value?
