Im taking my 10 year old daughter on her very first hike tomorrow. We are heading up Mt Willard, in Crawford Notch. I cant wait!! it should be a great day!

What a coincidence , this too was a first hike for me in the state of New Hampshire last June .
I'm sure your daughter will enjoy this hike and it will forever be etched in her mind and truely cherished by you as time marches forward.
