Maine guide book

I have an old edition of the maine guide book (13th edition 1996). Is it worth buying the 2009 edition? Any major changes? Actually I was very disapointed in the 1996 edition. Half the guide was about the over AT and very little detail on the trail. I know the MATC takes the typical "we are different" view of the world, but is the 2009 also in this less is more style?

I have the !4th (2004) on my desk right now and it sounds a lot like how you described the 13th.

I know that doesn't answer your question but I'm guessing little has changed.
