I hope Sgt Rock hasn't shut it down, or is it just me?
I'm getting this message:

I have not been able to get in since yesterday. Hope its back up soon.
Nope it seems to be down right now. It seems to be just a database problem. He is in the middle of moving and probably does not realize that it is down yet. I know he would not leave it this way if he knew about it. Give him some time and it will be back I a can asure you.

Sorry folks but yes SGT Rock's Hiking HQ is down right now. Unfortunately he is in Mississippi right now on temporary duty with no computer access. We might try him talking me through fixing it later.

He musta changed some info or accidentally wrecked some code before he left. Possible server issue....java based nav menues wreak havock in conjunction with other code on same page sometimes....You can access all the site material but the index homepage...
What has happened is that his forums are down and so is his front page because that is part of the forum software. You can still access all his other pages if you know the addresses. But nothing will work dealing with his forums. This is because something is wrong with his SQL (databse) files. I don't know what it is but that is the issue.
If you want to get to his site but not acces the forums then you can use this link for the time being:

Sorry gang, not sure what the deal is. Me thinks the server we use is screwing things up again by moving stuff around. Yes Troll the issue is the SQL stuff however it is the moving stuff around issue not necessarily a corrupt database (I hope).
Anyway, Rock will be back home by this time next weekend and I'm sure he will have the forums back up and running in no time flat. Sorry I can't do more, but he still hasn't taught me how to use this software that well. :rolleyes:
EDIT TO ADD:
I got the site back up again for now. If it crashes again would someone please pm me thru this site to let me know. Sad to say I don't visit the sites as often as I used to lately and could miss it for hours or even days. Thanks!
