anyword on the missing hikers? IS the following incedent on the PCT?

In the central Sierra, rescuers struggled against 50 mph winds through 4-foot-deep snow as they searched for 10 missing hikers, including a group of four who vanished Sunday and a couple who disappeared during a day hike Tuesday- CNN

Is this the same lost hikers as in Yosimite?? This morning I saw on the news they had rescued about 30 hikers but 2 Koreans died while climbing El Capitan.Streamweaver

several hikers were rescued in California's SIERRA range (mountains) after a snow storm blew through.

2 Korean climbers weren't as lucky....chopper search crews found their bodies....frozen on the side of El Capitan....dangling.

From the news reports I've read, the dead were Japanese, not Korean.
