mail drop from canada?

Has anyone from Canada tried to do mail drops? It seems that express post is pretty pricey and takes up to 5 business days.

Have any Canucks tried it? If so was it difficult to time etc? Also what exactly can be sent? can food stuffs even be shipped across the border?

Not exactly what you were asking but last year when I was hiking the IAT I found it a lot cheaper and faster to mail my drops from Canada.

but how exactly did you do that? was it a bounce box? or did you have someone in a canadian "home base" sending out supplies to you?
