The wifey gave the thumbs up for me to speed hike the Tahoe Rim Trail immediately after my JMT hike this August. Anyone interested?

Mags, your posts on WB are one of the reasons why I keep coming back to WB. I always enjoy your perspective, photos, and condensed shake down of what's typically most important to thru-hikers. What more can I say. You entice me to hike the Tahoe Rim Trail.

Phreak, if you can swing it with the wifey and with alloted time how about doing a JMT thru-hike NOBO then connecting to the Yosemite-Tahoe Route then to a thru-hike of the Tahoe Rim Trail. Sounds like some great scenery in such a trip!

Realistically, what's the earliest you can hike the Tahoe Rim Trail? Late June?

Seems about right. Call it June 20th or so. All depends on the snow year.

As an aside, the Tahoe area just had a snow storm!
