Does anyone know of a place to send maildrops in Williamstown or North Adams?

How about the Post Office in the center of town? The Zip Code is 01267

My wife and I used the Post Office in Williamstown with no problem.
They seemed very familiar with hikers coming in for mail drops.
Just make sure to have ID handy so you can prove that you are yourself :rolleyes:
After the post office the next stop was the Williamstown Inn to get a shower :)
The local outfitter accepts mail drops. They are The Mountain Goat

Just at the Mountain Goat today, left with a lighter wallet. Just east on Rt. 2 is a Whole Food Store, great for good food to pack.
If you feel you absolutely must send a resupply box to Williamstown/N. Adams go ahead, but that area has much of what a thru-hiker(LT or AT, same shared trail)tytpically needs/seeks. LG grocery stores, public transportaion, hotels/motels/ camping spots, decent outfitter, laundromats, PO, medical services, possible shower opps at hotels, library, internet access, etc
Thanks for all the info. I'll try the outfitter first.
I am mostly using maildrops for maps. That and as a way for people to send me care packages and letters while on trail.
