I was looking at a light weight hikers blog today and came across a nifty looking badge pasted on the side. It is a challenge to get 350 people to paste the Brighter Planet's badge on their blog, and by doing so you will show your support to fight climate change. Basically it is supporting reducing the carbon footprint. It sounded like a good thing, so I signed up and attached the badge to my blog. Now, this challenge has already been met, but they decided to keep it going as it is a good thing. So, if anyone out there has a blog and would like to partake in this you can click on the following link to check it out at least, and maybe get a badge of your own. So here is the link to Brighter Planet's 350 Challenge:

Also, to give credit, this is the blog I found it on (nice blog to):

And one more time. I am trying to get my blog going. So, if anyone would like to check it out, maybe leave a comment or a suggestion (I am sure I need some). It is here:

I hope a few decides to get a badge, it sure does seem like a good thing, and it requires no effort on your part. Thanks for taking a look.

I prefer a warm and shallow sandy sea environment, myself.

But seriously.
Making patches and creating and reading blogs actually contributes to climate change by consuming energy that's generated by the combustion of fossil fuels.

Twenty-one thousand years ago, there was two miles of ice above the northern Appalachian Trail (from roughly Mass. north).
I prefer it the way it is now, thanks.
