I'm starting a SOBO thru hike in mid-July, which means finishing in Georgia in Dec. I'm leaning towards a campmor 20 degree bag:

Campmor +20 (http://www.campmor.com/outdoor/gear/Product___40065)

...but I'm worried that it won't be enough in December. Considering this bag as an alternative:

Marmot Sawtooth +15 (http://www.campmor.com/outdoor/gear/Product___46338)

Thanks for any feedback!

I would not scimp on this item. Look for a bag with 700 fill or better, and make sure if you are not very thin, it fits you. There are many choices.
As winter approaches, you can consider a warmer bag still. Perhaps adding a very light overbag or liner if it's a cold fall.

I'm using two bags - a 25 degree and a 15 degree myself. But I hope to be done in Nov (since I've already done Harpers Ferry to Troutdale SOBO)

The Campmor 20 degree down bag is a good bag. For a NOBO it would be a fine bag to carry as your only bag. Not really sure about Dec down south during a SOBO. To me a 15 or 20 degree bag is basically the same rating. I'd start with the 20 and if need be pick up a 0 degree down South if it starts to get too cold. Plenty of outfitters and you can always call Campmor and mail order a 0 degree.
