I'm doing pretty good, spending a gap year from college on Nantucket Island off the coast of Massachusetts. I'll be heading to University of Maine-Farmington this fall to major in international studies.

Have not been arrested yet, and it's not something I'm particularly striving to do.
I do, however, have my eyes set on a PhD from an ivy league school at some point down the line, preferably Harvard.

I'll bet the No One, absolutely No One here, thinks for a minute that you will not achieve your goals. And you'll enjoy the trek. And people around you will find delight in witnessing your success.

Are there any in New England this year? I might be able to make it to that one in Millinocket in mid-September if they are still doing it, as I'll be about two hours south of there.

Quick note: Having spent some of my formative years there, and a lot more time later, please keep in mind that there are plenty of other fine schools that aren't necessarily located in Cambridge, MA. I'm sure you'll do fine wherever you land.
