Glasgow River Fest 2010: June 5-12, 2010

Glasgow, VA is hosting its annual River Fest June-5 through 12, 2010. There will be vendors, river events, rides, games, Miss VA., a carnival and blue grass band. One of the sponsors asked me to post this information, and invite hikers, campers, and paddlers to Glasgow to share in the fun.

Hi - I just recently found out about the new Hiker Shelter in Glasgow. Could you pass on the exact location and/or a photo if you have one. A friend and I are doing a 100 mile AT section hike and plan on stopping in Glasgow on Sept 28th (PM). We may take an off day on the 29th and do some kayaking in the area if the river is high enough.
