I live in NJ and am planning a CT thru-hike this summer (starting sometime between July 20 and Aug 10)... Denver to Durango like most people. I'm trying to decide the start date based on 1. weather 2. availability of hiking partners.
I'm 27, in decent shape but am going to train for the next 2 months. I plan to take about 5 weeks for the entire trail i.e about 100 miles / week. My girlfriend might be joining me at the very end of the hike (~ the final 4 - 5 days).
If you are interested or are part of a group of hikers who wouldn't mind another person, let me know and maybe we can talk on the phone or something..
