View Full Version : S.W. Va driving directions needed...
I will be heading south on I-81 from Wytheville and need driving directions to the Elk Garden trailhead.
Thanks for any help you may be able to offer.

Oh, yeah, directions. Get off on Va 16 in Marion, go south. Turn right on Va 603. At a funny intersection you will turn left on Va 600, Whitetop Road. The parking area is at the top, it's obvious and well marked. There is a large open grassy area on the left, and the parking area is on the right.

To add to bigcranky's directions:
at the "funny intersection" you will turn left at a stop sign and then take another left in about 30 yards after you pass the two defunct gas stations...
