Heading out latter half of this weekend- Carvers on through Walnut Mt Road.
Anyone know the status of springs in that area.
And, are the streams north of 19E through Walnut Mt Road safe after filtering?
I know the one right at 19E is bad.

I was up at Hughes Gap about 3 weeks ago. And it RAINED. You should see the main sources flowing well. But its still pretty warm.
Reminder: Cloudland and the Roan Garden areas are only open till the 1st week of July for the Rodos. Then it will be closed for remodeling and revamp.
You are correct about 19E area's water. I would not attempt to drink any water until after Bishops Hollow/High Point then start down toward Buck Mtn Road. 19E and Bear Branch are highly polluted and littered.
Water up at Apple House or at Mtn Harbour Inn.

We are staying at Mtn Harbour 1st and last nights so hopefully we can re-water as we pass back by there...Is the Elk river water or Jones Falls water ok?
Trying to keep the water weight to a minimum.
