how hard is it for hitchhiking for say i have a cousin in burlington vt but they def wont drive the 2 hrs to pick me up how east hard is it to hitch hike more then a 30 min drive?

Vermont is probably the easiest state in the union to hitch in.
Just search the forums for some techniques and safety tips and enjoy the experience.

Fiddlehead's right. As long as you're not on the Interstate, you should have no problems.

you shouldn't have too much trouble- it's just a straight shot up rt 7 from rutland. i went to middlebury (right in between rutland and burlington) and never had any problems. good luck!
