A good pair of hiking pants are made of nylon. I would like to find BDU pants in nylon. Seen them in cotton/poly.
Maybe with zip off legs? Thanx ahead, Bill

If you can find a place that sells the fabric, this sounds like a simple enough home project. Actually what first came to mind was maybe you could find these BDU nylon pants with full length velcro at Chippendales. This sounded like something a male stripper would use in his performance.

Zip-off leg BDU's?! Maybe you just mean cammo patterned clothing? Humongous url follows, hope it works.

Ummmm..I'm confused? BDU pants are made of 50% nylon/cotton, having no poly. Are you referring to BDU pants as in "Battle Dress Uniform" pants?

I have two pair of BDU style pants with zip off legs. I bought them at a clerance sale at USCav about 7 years ago. They probably don't have that exact style of pants anymore, but that is probably the sort of place to look:

Remington makes 100% nylon cargo pants for warmer weather that make excellent hiking pants!! They are lightweight but strong and dry fast! Prices are decent too. I found a pair of the Remington nylon zip off pants at Wallyworld and they are one of the best pairs of hiking pants I own!remington (http://www.remington.com/NR/exeres/0000158abqeyurlrsdknwsxr/other_prod.asp?NRMODE=Published&NRORIGINALURL=%2fother%2fapparel%2ehtm&NRNODEGUID=%7b0F3C56BD-3D01-4DC2-96F5-46576B81C178%7d&NRQUERYTERMINATOR=1&cookie%5Ftest=1) Streamweaver
