I was looking though my facebook page this morning and saw an ad for the new M&M Pretzels.. This should be a good addition to Gorp as some enjoy mixing M&M's and Pretzels with their gorp. They you can do it together..
I have never been one to put chocolate in with gorp as I have been afraid of a very big mess, but this?? Oh yes, look at this grin..I think I have changed my ways..

They are round, When I first read your post I expected them to look like a pretzel, I've had the milk chocolate and white chocolate pretzels and love them, I think nestle makes them.
These look interesting, It shows salt/sodium, wonder if they have the sweet and salty thing going on.
Have to add this to my trail mix list.

You want something good to put in your gorp, buy a bag of pretzels, a giant hershey bar and a bag of peanut m&m's...melt the chocolate in a double boiler, then dip the bottom of the pretzels in the melted chocolate and use that to stick a peanut m&m on each pretzel.

I bought a bag of these yesterday to take on day hike today. Dumped some into a zip lock and snugged that against my water bladder in my day pack. Should help to keep them a little cooler. We'll see how they fare by about 11 am on a 90+ degree day.

I stopped at the gas station to get some, but they didn't have any. So I got the peanut butter kind! :eek:

First off, I thought the new M&Ms were excellent! And so did the others on the hike today who tried them. They held up very well in my day pack - didn't crush and didn't melt at all.

A fellow M&M addict at work bought a large bag and after I tried some I agreed with his choice to throw them away. They would be very low on my choice of things to eat.

Ok, I'll admit they didn't last long.....But they take the backseat to good old SNICKERS !
