Snaps?

Does any one know if they sell backpack snaps (not really sure what to call them but the black things which keep your pack closed and then can be tightened...)? :-?

I bought a pack used and one is missing...would like to replace it!

I beleive what you are referring to are usually called Fastex side release buckles. Made of Nylon or some proprietary plastic like polymer blend.....
(There may be other manufacturers, but I am most familiar with Fastex..)

Any outdoor goods store will carry them - REI, EMS, Local Outfitters....
You will need to know the width (.5", 1", 1.5" or 2")
and you will want both the male and female parts (Picture: Male on left,, Female on right) since different manufacturers will not usually mate correctly.

I contacted the manufacturer (Golite) and got some for free, including shipping.
