I am in the selection process as well, I have decided to order a pair of Vasque Blur SL, I watched the video's on Vasque's sight and was intrigued. Hard to beat Salomons. They fit me better than anything in the world, and you can usually find them on sale at STP. You might watch SAC and 6PM.com for specials. The New Balance MT876OR just got a really good review on BPL too.

Look at the Merrell Navigators a very nice shoe I used two pair and they did Very good. The Salomons I bought were crap way to stiff and the fabric in the toe will rip, right next to the bottom lace. You can waste your money if you like. I think the Salomons are WAY over rated.
