Here is my Gear list for Maine 3days-4nights-Lean-to/Hammock Hanging.
Please revise, Also Add/remove.

I'd throw out 3/4 of that stuff and replace it with a bottle of good whiskey.

Nix the flashlight for a headlight even if its a wally world one. If you are on the AT do you really need the compass? Also dont the iphone have a compass? As a firestarter use the hand cleaner if you need it. I never used a firestarter or took matches, take 2 mini bic's. Keep away from the cotton clothes. 1oz of soap and or hand wipes to clean. Duct tape stored on the poles is a must.
