5.7 magnitude centered in Quebec. Felt it pretty good in my office. Books fell over and the dog was freakin out.

Crazy.

According to Dr. Michael Blanpied,Associate Coordinator of the USGS Earthquake Hazards Program, in Reston, VA. the frequency of earthquakes does not appear to be increasing.

A good summary of the data appears here (http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/eqarchives/year/eqstats.php).

Felt it in Milwaukee on the 5th floor of a renovated brick/masonry converted warehouse building. I was pretty sure that I knew what was going on after 5 seconds of swaying.

I was sitting in the doctors chair in Albany NY when it happened, I definitely felt it. I remember thinking "what could possibly be making this building shake?". I didn't think anything of it really because my doctor was speaking at the moment...

Didn't realize what was happening until I saw the ceiling fan in the other room swinging. As far as the animal premonition thing, my dog was snoring thru the whole thing until the books fell.lol

In Alaska, we got little ones there every couple days. Must be getting used to stable ground, cuz it took a few seconds to register.
