I have just been given a voucher for a new pair of Keens after my Targhee II seam stitching busted loose after my section in April.
The warranty had expired in December '09 but the stitching was pulling loose before that . I had only about 300 miles of trail life on them.
It seems this is a major drawback to an otherwise great hiking boot.
Question now : Should I go back to the Targhee , which is so comfortable or is there another Keen mid/low cut hiker boot which has a better history of durability?
