Looks a lot like my list.
Of course you have toilet paper.
I would bring the poles or use a couple sticks or one solid staff.
Looks pretty good.
Duct Tape.

Have you practiced with the mag fire starter?
May be weight that you never use. Mine stays home because in a survival situation, it is HARD work to use. My thoughts are that in a survival situation, I may not be able to use it.

I used to carry the Magnesium Fire Starter, I switched it out for a Misch Fire Steel.

Just an FYI... you can easily get all you need in Monson to get to Stratton (70 miles away) which has a decent grocery store.

Or you could get a little in Monson and send a small drop to the PO in Caratunk which is halfway between Monson and Stratton if you wanted to travel light.

List looks good 'cept I'd leave the trowel and fire starter thingy and add maps.

I have not used or practiced with the firestarter, it was actually a gift, so it got thrown in the mix. Duct tape had slipped my mind, need to go pick some up. I actually like the trowel, its pretty sturdy, I can brandish it at someone and then run away ;)

By all means, bring the poles!
If nothing else, the heavy ones will explain why the good ones are worth the money.
Have a great hike!

I might pick up some camp shoes, something like crocs? The bladder does indeed have a bite tube thingy at the end. I'm bringing the 2 (4 bottles) of aquamira because I just dont like having to plan ahead, same goes for the companion guide ;). I probably will pick up a small journal. I might pass out if I stab myself with a needle, lol. I'm passing on the headnet, I can pick something up at somepoint if I think I'll need one, I hear mixed reviews on necessity after June. Earplugs I'll need to snag.

Registration at TS 14 for the 13th!
